believe this is unacceptable.

To save the lives of shelter dogs, adopt them out, encourage local foster, promote neuter/spay, and actively endorse an
"adoption first position."
What we do
“PAWS TO LOVE ME” is an IRS recognized 501 c 3 charity.We typically rescue dogs (and occasionally cats) from high volume shelters in Oklahoma and Texas. Some of these dogs are scheduled to be killed due to lack of space, illness, heartworm status or age. Once we receive them, we treat any medical condition, neuter/spay and post for adoption.PAWS TO LOVE ME Directors, Board Members and volunteers receive zero financial compensation. 100% of all donations and adoption fees go toward veterinary costs, transport, short term boarding or short term training. All food and other supplies are purchased by Board Members or foster parents.
ADOPTION Information & APPLICATION
We do our best to match each dog/cat with the person/family we feel is best suited to the dog's/cat's personality and needs. We do not adopt to the person who is first to submit an adoption application.You will be asked to submit a thorough application with references. Home visits are a required part of the application process. You must also submit a brief bio about yourself/family including your lifestyle and hobbies. This information will assist us in matching you with the most perfect dog or cat for you.We do adopt to out of state applicants. We work with other rescues who will do home visits for us. If approved, you will have to drive to us to pick up your dog/cat.We do not allow you to meet any of our dogs until your application has been approved. Since we do not have a physical shelter, we do not allow meet and greets for cats but provide multiple photos and videos prior to adoption.We do not allow "trial adoptions."
